AIR France has suffered losses at 426 million euros

Net losses in Europe’s largest airline AIR France KLM as a result 2009-2010 I quarter ended June 30 amounted to 431 million euros against profit of 132 million euros on the basis of the same period last year. This is stated in the communication company.

Sales AIR France in I quarter this year decreased by 20.5% – from 6.505 billion euros to 5.169 billion euros, the report says. Operating loss for the quarter amounted to 496 million euros, with earnings of 217 million euros as a result of April-June 2008.

In the company financial performance show a reduction in demand for air travel. Thus, the volume of passenger traffic company declined by 18.7%, while trucks – by 41,5%, specified in the document.
